Chris joined PRIDE in November 2018 as a Research Assistant and works across all participant-facing studies.
In the Spring of 2018, he graduated with a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and Chinese from Middlebury College. During his time in college he began a research career while assisting a sociology professor, for which he collected qualitative data on racial prejudices among online forums for MSM seeking sexual connections. He then designed and conducted his research ethnography in Beijing, China, on transnational queer identities within drag queen nightlife cultural spaces. Chris’s research interests are mainly in sociological realms of non-normative queer cultures, feminist and gender theory, and racial theory in LGBTQ studies.
