Study Coordinator

Dalisa Santiago serves as Research Coordinator for the section of Retrovirology and Global Health at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is the lead study coordinator for the Baylor Adolescent Trials Network (ATN/iTECH). In addition, Ms. Santiago serves as the Youth Community Advisory Board facilitator where she engages youth in HIV health education and research. She also assists with supervision of Ryan White Part D HIV medical case management. Ms. Santiago earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Edward Waters College, and completed her Master’s in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Dalisa is currently pursing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. Prior to joining HIV research, Ms. Santiago served as a Research Coordinator for gastrointestinal cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her past research experiences have led her to explore the fields of musculoskeletal tissue engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and pulmonary hypertension at Mayo Clinic.
