Study Coordinator

Gabrielle Hayes serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator with the Retrovirology department at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital under the leadership of Dr. Mary Paul. She is the lead coordinator for the Baylor Adolescent Trials Network (ATN) studies You Thrive and COMPARE. In addition, she is the main facilitator of the Youth Council Advisory Board where she engages youth on various topics surrounding HIV/AIDS research while promoting general well-being. Prior to joining research, Hayes served in direct clinical care as a Patient Services Coordinator at The University of Texas at MD Anderson Cancer Center providing care and overseeing pertinent information in regards to Cancer patient care. In 2017, she was nominated and awarded for her services provided to her patients and colleagues by the Nursing Quality Care Committee of MD Anderson for “Human Respect”. Hayes currently obtains a degree in University Studies with concentrations in Biology and Psychology while also currently in school to obtain her second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
