Dr. Lisa M. Henry-Reid, a pediatrician with board certification in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is Chair of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stroger Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science She has lectured locally and nationally and published on a variety of topics in the area of adolescent health including reproductive health, health disparities and sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Henry-Reid was the Principal Investigator for the NICHD funded “REACH Study”, a five year multi-site natural history study of HIV/AIDS in youth ages 12-18 years infected via unsafe sexual practices and/or illicit drug use. As of September, 2014 she transitioned from co-principal investigator to Principal Investigator of the NICHD funded Adolescent Medicine Trials Network Cooperative (ATN) which concluded in February 2017. Dr Henry-Reid has served as a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Pediatric AIDS and participates as a reviewer for the Journal of Adolescent health care, and Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.
