Mark Marzinke, PhD, is Associate Professor of Pathology and Medicine in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Clinical Chemistry by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. He serves as the Director of the General Chemistry Laboratory at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Director and Principal Investigator (PI) of the Clinical Pharmacology Analytical Laboratory within the Division of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Marzinke is Co-Director of the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) Laboratory Center (LC). His primary research interests are in the areas of antiretroviral pharmacology, HIV prevention science, infectious diseases, precision medicine, mass spectrometry, and laboratory automation. He has received numerous awards and has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles.
