Rogelio works as a Research Coordinator for the Department of Pediatrics – Retrovirology, Immunology and Rheumatology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. Currently he is serving as one of the study coordinators for the Baylor Adolescent Trials Network (ATN).
Rogelio studied Medicine at the Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla in Mexico. For his fifth year of education he performed a one year rotation at several hospitals in the Texas Medical Center. In addition, as part of his last year of Medical school, he served as a primary/preventive care physician for immigrants in a private agronomic company.
Rogelio has experience in both inpatient and outpatient research. He has coordinated studies in the fields of anesthesiology and liver disease, specifically in post-operative pain management and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis treatment, respectively.
