Tori, at 28 years of age has already done so much in the health and prevention field. Starting out with a background in dance and education she had already had lots of experience working with children and adolescents, where she realized her passion for helping others. After working 3 years with the school district of Philadelphia teaching dance pertaining to math and science she decided to expand her work into the LGBTQ community where she saw a great need for trans identified youth and LGBTQ children alike. She then began her work at the COLOURS organization, a community based organization dedicated to black and brown queer folk. There, she created programs and help to organize a welcoming environment for all people to eat, get clothing, and relax. The programs also allowed them to put themselves in a position to succeed in this ever changing society we live in. While there she started working with POSSE as a POL where she helped give feedback on community outreach and prevention in the ballroom community. That led her to being on the CAB for POSSE there, also at PENN and other Trans specified boards where her voice helps mold programs in health and prevention for marginalized groups. Now she is currently at CHOP working as a clinical research assistant with the AI department.
