Gretchen earned her BA in anthropology from UNC Chapel Hill in 2012. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Atlanta and worked began working at Rollins School of Public Health as an HIV counselor and research interviewer. She then moved to Baltimore and earned her MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2016, with a focus on infectious diseases and professional epidemiology methods. After returning to Atlanta, Gretchen re-joined the PRISM staff in 2016. She works on the DOT Diary, ePrEP and PrEP@Home studies.
