The UNC/Emory Center for Innovative Technology (iTech) has opened recruitment for five studies in the last month: YouTHrive, Get Connected, LYNX, MyChoices, and TechStep.
Usability Testing for ATN 138: YouTHrive is currently open in Atlanta, the Bronx, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, and Tampa. YouThrive is a website developed to be a safe space for sharing information, where people may feel empowered and supported to make healthy choices around living with HIV. Recruitment for the RCT for ATN 139: Get Connected opened in Atlanta and will be recruiting through April 2019. Read more about the Get Connected study here.
ATN 140: LYNX and ATN 141: MyChoices opened recruitment for their RCTs. LYNX is recruiting in Chicago and Tampa, while MyChoices is recruiting in Boston and the Bronx. In June, iTech plans to pit these two studies head-to-head in another study, ATN 143: COMPARE, in Atlanta, Boston, the Bronx, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, and Tampa. iTech’s only study focusing exclusively on transgender and gender non-conforming people, ATN 160: TechStep, has opened recruitment for focus groups that will occur in November in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.
