Research Assistant

Elijah Brittingham was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. From a young age, he began working in childcare and supporting his neighborhood by becoming a Committee Worker. Elijah studied at the University of Pittsburgh, and earned a BS in Psychology. Before his time at CHOP, Elijah worked as a Therapeutic Support staff member, aiding young children in schools, homes and summer camp/daycare settings. Though he loved what he did, Elijah wanted to have an active role in supporting the LGBT community and other marginalized groups. In November 2018, Elijah began working for the Adolescent Initiative in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a Clinical Research Assistant working with youth and Adolescents in HIV prevention.
